About the Artist

Harmonic Tapestry was created by Sarah Johnson after years helping the victims of sex trafficking and abuse. From holding the hand of an abused child, to helping women process the nightmares they experienced, Sarah was there as an advocate of hope and healing. These heartbreaking stories took a toll on her day after day, and she needed to find a way to cope.

One day she sat with an elderly woman who taught her how to pray through the art of threading a needle. Every bead she added to her jewelry was a prayer, and every prayer a plea to help heal the women who suffered. This is how her journey began, and soon she was creating a beautiful tapestry of beaded jewelry.

Each piece of jewelry is designed with hope as its focus. Each bead is unique, each imperfection is deliberate and beautiful, and each bead is a prayer, a prayer for hope and healing and a celebration of humanity.
