About the Artist

Pam King was born in Omaha, NE and currently works and lives in Lincoln. She earned her BFA from Bellevue University in Nebraska and afterwards took three years of classes under the direction of jeweler Anne Goddard of Lincoln. Pam also spent several weeks in Taos, New Mexico learning the craft. Pamela originally studied and spent many years as a printmaker and photographer; now the stones, silver, and copper are her preferred media.

Pam has always loved rocks and the different textures, colors, and energies within them. She designs each piece of jewelry for the stone, not worrying about what is ‘in fashion’ or the latest fad.

“I let the rocks do the speaking and I try to design what will show case it’s qualities and make it happy”
