Kelly Tadlock is a native of Sioux Fall and currently resides in Brandon, South Dakota. As a graduate of Augustana University, Tadlock has an emphasis in fine art and graphic design. These experiences have led Tadlock to explore figurative and abstract themes. She strives to continuously grow as an artist and her work is a reflection of her personal experiences, emotions, and interests. When working, she seeks to experiment and pushes her medium to its limits. Tadlock is captivated by the relationships found in artwork, particularly the tension between colors, space, and structure. Motivated by balance, each piece of artwork contains a fragment of herself and therefore is made in an effort to unearth her soul as an artist and risk-taker.
