Jerry Cook was raised in Worthington, MN and currently resides in Brandon, SD. Due to his farm and city upbringing Cook seeks to blend traditional painting formats with sculptural and textual elements. His fascination with texture, structure and light has lead him to create simple yet visually appealing pieces by utilizing different mediums, materials and technologies. Cook’s work pushes the viewer to observe the overall composition while also allowing them to get lost in the depth and fine detail of each peace.

Cook is also heavily involved in suicide and cancer related charities and regularly uses his artwork as a personal therapeutic outlet as well as a way to help raise funding for charity.
