About the Series
The translucent qualities of thin plastic vellum and the ability to paint and draw on two surfaces (front and back) widened the possibilities and provided the artist with the perfect platform to display his skills as a designer. Influenced by architectural as well as organic forms, the pictures were made using clearly defined edges, flat shapes, lines, and tonal variations. Because this work contains the consistent use of 3-4 specific motifs, to be surrounded by them all at once is like standing in a visual echo chamber.
